Scope
Trainee will develope critical skills to be capable to make vertical access in hostile environment, political sensitive, denied or/and areas of limited access.
Training subcategories for vertical obstacle course:
0) Intro.
End-state – every course attendant is given basic knowledge about operations in hostile environment, denied, political sensitive or/and areas of limited access.
1) Task planning.
End-state – trainee is capable to analyze and plan task and develop vertical enabler plan
2) Gear and tool preparation.
End-state – trainee is capable to utilize resources that are required for specific task.
3) OPSEC.
End-state – trainee understands and utilizes skills to secure mission and personnel when performing vertical access.
4) Basic hardware utilizing skills.
End-state – trainee is fully capable to utilize all resources based on industrial alpine requirements.
5) Advanced hardware utilizing skills.
End-state – trainee is fully capable to utilize all resources based on mission and task.
6) Special hardware utilizing skills.
End-state – trainee is fully capable to utilize improvised and unconventional tools and skills to enable vertical obstacle access
7) Object recognition.
End-state – trainee is fully capable to perform close object estimation for vertical access points.
8) Back briefing.
End-state – trainee understands and is able to process task data to enable single and/or team vertical obstacle approach.
9) Gear and tool maintenance.
End-state – trainee is fully capable to perform maintenance on vertical access hardware based on specific requirements.
